Every painting leaves the studio only after you approve it. Shipping is free within the United States. Insured, tracked, and sealed for travel.

Packaging
Built for the journey.
- Sealant
- Krylon UV and water-resistant varnish is applied to every painting before it leaves the studio. The surface stays color-true for generations and survives a stray splash.
- Unframed
- Acid-free tissue, rigid board, flat mailer. Corner-protected and sealed against moisture.
- Framed
- Solid wood or lacquered frame, museum-grade acid-free mat, plexiglass. Plexi is double-protected for transit. Never glass. So shocks do not become shattered paintings.
- Insurance
- Every package is insured at its full commissioned value. Claims are handled by the studio if a carrier damages a piece in transit.
International
Shipping worldwide, on request.
- Carriers
- FedEx International or UPS Worldwide Expedited, with insurance and full tracking.
- Customs & duties
- Import duties, VAT, and brokerage fees are the recipient's responsibility. Rates vary by country. We fill customs forms accurately and at commissioned value.
- Transit time
- Typically 3 to 10 business days once dispatched. Customs holds can extend this.
- Quotes
- Before checkout: write hello@precisionpencil.com with your destination and chosen size. You'll get an exact rate within the day.
Approvals & Revisions
Nothing ships until you approve it.
- The approval photograph
- Once the painting is finished, a high-resolution photograph is posted to your private order portal. You review. You approve. Only then does the studio pack and dispatch.
- Revisions
- Unlimited. If the likeness is not yet right, request a revision through the order portal and Justin repaints the passage. There is no cap, no fee, and no deadline.
- Turnaround after approval
- Approval to label within one business day. Tracking appears in your order portal the moment it uploads.
Returns & Damages
Made for you. Made right.
- Custom work
- Commissioned paintings are made specifically for you. Because revisions are unlimited during approval, standard returns on a finalized likeness are not accepted. The approval step is where we make it right.
- Damaged in transit
- Rare, but possible. Photograph the packaging and painting, write to hello@precisionpencil.com within 7 days of delivery, and Justin files an insurance claim and begins a repaint immediately. No cost to you.
- Arrived different than approved
- If the painting that arrives does not match the photograph you approved, contact the studio. We cover return shipping and issue a full refund or repaint, your choice.
- Address problems
- If a package returns to the studio because of an address error, you'll be notified in the order portal and via email; reshipment is covered by the studio the first time.
